and kisses good bye

Mason and I gave each other kisses good-bye as he was leaving. At first I didn't want to quit playing the tickle game and laid on the floor. Mason helped me up as he told me that I had to be upright to get kisses good-bye.

Mason tickles me!

Mason tickles me and I laugh and laugh!! Whenever he comes over to our house now or grandma and grandpa's house I lay on the floor and wait for him to come over and tickle me. It is a game we play together. Maybe I will tickle my little brother like Mason tickles me.

My cousin Mason comes for a visit

I love to play with my cousin Mason. I know that since I love my cousins Mason and Andrew so much, I will have no problem loving my baby brother. Mason and I gave each other some hugs and then we did some hard core playing! Mom, dad and Auntie Stacy were laughing so hard at us that we must have been pretty funny.

I get a brother!

Mom and dad told me this week that is it official - I am getting a brother in about 19 more weeks. He is growing like crazy in mom's tummy and doing great in there I guess. Mom says that she will always make time to read to me, cuddle me and give me lots of hugs and kisses. If my brother starts to bug me I will just go to my favorite hiding place in the cupboards.

Finishing up my play time

Mom and Mason did some jumping too. I stopped for a quick snack with Grandpa Eckert in between bouncing.

I gave myself a hand!

I enjoyed myself so much that I gave myself a hand! I did some clapping for myself once I landed at the bottom of the slide. I became quite the daredevil on the slide too.

Good times!!

Grandpa helped me get up to the top. I could pretty much do it myself, I'm a good climber. Then I would fly down to the bottom of the slide. I must have went down that slide a hundred times. I was really tired and slept hard on this night.

Cousin Mason turns 2!!!

Cousin Mason had his 2nd birthday party. He had a jumping play area with a slide. We had SO much fun. I jumped and rode on the slide for hours with my cousins and Mason's other cousins, grandpa and grandma Moldenhauer and mom and dad. Grandma would sometimes catch me at the bottom of the slide. I would say to her, "1,2,3...are you ready, ready, set, GO!" then I'd slide down fast to the bottom. I would laugh out loud when I'd fall which was often since it's hard to balance in those bouncing things.

Thanks mom!

I've been asking for pancakes every morning at breakfast all week. Finally since today was Saturday mom had time to make me some pancakes. "Yay pancakes, mmmm!" I told her. Dad likes them too. It makes mom happy to take care of us and she also likes to eat a good pancake. I get special jam on mine and this morning I ate almost 3 whole pancakes!!

Mom at 19 wks

Here is my mom at 19 weeks. I've been wearing a lot of shirts that say "I'm a big sister!" or "I'm the cool sister!" The nice lady at daycare who takes care of me during the week asked me about my cool sister shirt and I told her, "SO cool! SO cool!" When she told mom this it really made mom laugh. I'm pretty special as the big sister.

Crayons do not taste good - something I learned when mom/dad weren't watching me close enough

Mom and dad were chatting in the kitchen and so I kept myself busy by taking a bite out of each of the new crayons mom just had bought me. None of them tasted good and so I spit every bite out! I'm not sure why I kept tasting the crayons after first discovering that they were not very good. Mom and dad really should know by now that when I am being really quiet in the living room it usually means I am up to some trouble! In about 5 minutes I can really get into some things. Mom said she is not buying me any more crayons for me to eat. I am always telling her that I "want to color ponies" in my color book.....but now she sits next to me to keep an eye on me and make sure I'm not taking bites out of the crayons.

I accidentally did a number 2 in the bathtub tonight while dad was bathing me. He had some work to do and so mom took me into the kitchen for a snack. For my before bed snack mom made me blueberry muffins. These are one of my favorite things to eat and I had 2 big muffins. I do appreciate what mom makes for me and I made sure to give her lots of feedback in the form of "Mmmmmmms" and "Num Nummmm!" Mom likes the muffins too and so we ate together. Just as I was finishing up dad had the 2nd bath ready. Between my 2 baths and the additional times that I had to be washed up after making a mess I really used up a lot of soap today. I like to keep my parents busy.

I was a mess!

Mom thought I had more sidewalk chalk on me then on the driveway. I even managed to get some chalk on my cheek. I had chalk all over my clothes, my hands and my feet. Yes, you heard right - my feet! I had socks on, but the chalk somehow got through my socks and my feet were rainbow colored. There was a lot of washing before I was allowed in the house again. This was my second wash up of the day since I also found a lipstick of mom's and colored in my coloring book with it earlier today. When I color pictures I like to make sure I get some color on my face, hands, clothes......no place is really safe. Mom was sad that one of her favorite lipsticks was now demolished - but she took some blame since she wondered (from the kitchen) why I was so content and quiet in the living room. She should know by now that means trouble!

OOOOH rocks!

About 30 minutes in to writing with chalk on the sidewalk I started gathering rocks out of the rock beds around our house. I took the rocks out and ran them over to dad. He didn't seem as thrilled as I was.....he tried to explain that he would rather they were left in the rock beds. I thought he should collect a few of them to take inside with us.

Sidewalk chalk!

Today mom took me outside to write all over the driveway with sidewalk chalk. I drew triangles, circles, puppies. I made sure mom always had a chalk in her hand to color with too. Later on dad joined us after he came home from his hunting trip with Rita. I made sure that I colored on as much of the driveway as I could, but our driveway is really big and so it became a difficult task for me to get around to all of it. The weather was beautiful outside!
