and I had to have some of dad's pie...it's Thanksgiving after all

A little while after my cookie, I saw that dad was eating some peanut butter cup pie. That looked really good to me and usually if dad likes it I will too. Dad has a reputation around our house for eating all kinds of foods that probably aren't healthy (says mom) but definitely taste great. I always try to ask for bites of food off of the plate when dad is eating dinner. When dad isn't home and it's just me and mom I get on my phone and tell mom I am talking to dad. Mom thinks it is funny that when she asks me what dad is doing I tell her that he is "eating pizza, num num!" Whenever dad and I talk on the phone he is always somewhere eating pizza according to me. Today I helped myself to dad's pie and may have eaten more than my fair share. I did leave some for dad to eat when I had finished. At first dad was running the fork but since the bites he was giving me weren't big enough I took matters (or should I say the fork) into my own hands. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

and cookies for Thanksgiving too

Mom brought over the Reindeer cookies she made last night and us kids really enjoyed them. I had some chocolate cake too and so mom only gave me half a cookie this time (I didn't even really notice).

Thanksgiving at the Moldenhauer's

We went to a big Thanksgiving dinner at Aunt Stacy, Uncle Chad and cousin Mason's house. I had so much fun. My cousins Madi and Katie were there too from Iowa. My great grandma Moldenhauer came and brought pies and her famous chocolate cake. We played and ate great food. I had turkey, pasta, broccoli, corn......and lots of desserts which I will get to talking about later on. Mason read the tractor book I got him for his birthday while I colored. I had so much fun at their house that I did not want to go home and take my nap.

Mmmmm.....reindeer cookies

Last night for my before bed snack mom made me reindeer cookies. I ate my whole cookie with a lot of num, nums to express how much I like cookies! Mom can cook when she puts her mind to it and dad and I can eat!

Posing for Xmas cards is exhausting

Mom and dad have been complaining lately about how difficult I was during the Christmas card photo shoot. I just wanted to run and play and check out the set, not sit for even one second so mom could get a family shot. Mom described it as "one of her worst nightmares" but I think she was exaggerating. We did get about 5 shots where I wasn't 'in motion' and so here is the finished product.

My baby brother is growing in mom's belly

Mom is 23 weeks pregnant now and her belly is getting bigger. This weekend mom had to go in to work for a while and so she took a picture with me before she left. When mom is gone, dad and I lounge around in our pajamas as long as possible. Mom did make me some blueberry waffles before she left to tide me over until snack time. Later that day we all went to visit baby Cane Bear. He is so little and I was really fascinated by him. I told mommy that he was a "pretty baby!" and I was very gentle as I patted him and petted his hair. I will a very good big sister to my little brother. After our visit we went out for dinner and I ate a lot of my turkey burger, broccoli, biscuits and some of mom's salad too (I liked her peas and soybeans). I colored while we waited for our food and drank my tasty chocolate milk. It was fun and I was a good girl!

Visitors for Halloween

Lots of friends came by trick-or-treating. The Lundeen twins came over dressed as my favorite characters - Minnie and Mickey Mouse! This morning I made my mom dress me in my Mickey T shirt because I was still thinking of last night and those costumes.

Halloween and my new kitty slippers

We also went to visit Mason and my aunt and uncle. Mason was a lion with a great roar! Great Grandma Moldenhauer was there and she gave me more Halloween treats to go along with the treats I got from my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandma great Van and grandparents. I am spoiled rotten with lots of toys, candy and clothes on Halloween. One lucky girl. Grandma Moldenhauer gave me a pair of kitty slippers that I now wear EVERYWHERE. I tell mom to help me put them on and then stomp around the house telling her, "I am walking, I am walking in my slippers!" Sometimes I take them off and just admire them and say, "Meow!"

Halloween!!!

I love Halloween. I waited all day to wear my duck/chicken costume. Everytime I saw it laying there ready to wear in my room I would ask mom to help me put it on. Once I had it on for the evening I didn't want to take it off again. My cousin Andrew came over in his costume. He was a cute cowboy with his very own horse! I liked to pet his horse and we posed for some pictures together. I now smile and say "cheeeeeeeese!" I must have learned this trick at daycare because mom was surprised when I started yelling it out. I also learned to give knuckles and "blow it up" afterwards as dad says and give high fives. So I did a lot of this as we went around trick-or-treating.

On my way to church

I love church and dressing up for service. We go on Saturdays. I play in the kid's room for a while and then join mom and dad. Mom packs me great snacks which keep me busy. She has to tell me a couple times per church service to be quieter, but overall I am a good girl. Here I am dressed up in an outfit that Auntie Stacy bought me.
