34 weeks - 6 weeks to go until baby Bobby is here

Mom is at 34 weeks now which means baby Bobby should be here in little over a month! As you can see I'm not that interested in him yet (I am pictured at the corner of this shot just playing and doing my own thing).

I am a great mommy to my Mickey and other friends

I always make sure that my Mickey doll gets lots of hugs and kisses. I put him down for nap time and tell him to go "night night." My mickey doll dances and sometimes he gets tired so I make sure he gets some rest. I still like to show off my big muscles as I am doing here in one of the pictures. I must get my big muscles from my mommy ;)

More things I like to do

I love to play in my parents' closet. I hide behind daddy's shirts and wait for mommy to find me

back in the corner. I put on all mommy's shoes and try to walk around. Mommy says I make a big mess in her closet but she still lets me play in there.

What I've been up to....

I've been busy playing with all the new toys that I got for Christmas. Here is a picture of dad, mom caught him cuddling with one of my dolls during his Sunday nap. I love to swim in the bath tub. Sometimes I ask for numerous baths during the day. I swim on my back and tummy and I love it so much that I often cry after a 30 minute bath when I have to get out of the tub.

Bobby's room - 32 weeks

Mom and dad have been busy making sure everything is ready for my little brother. Mom is 32 weeks in this picture and 33 weeks along as I write this blog post. We are all getting excited!

I love ice cream!

After going up and down the slide a bunch of times I had myself some cake and ice cream. I loved the cake until I had some ice cream and then I only wanted ice cream. Mom loves frosting and so we made a good team as we shared the cake and ice cream. Later on that night I got to go play with Mason and we had a slumber party when mom & dad went with aunt Stacy and uncle Chad out for the night. It was so much fun. Mason and I like to "roar" at each other and I tried to share my blankies with him. He has his own and so he didn't need mine I guess. Then in the morning aunt Stacy let us watch Mickey Mouse together. Mom and dad came and picked me up and then on the next day my grandparents Eckert took me to see my other cousin Andrew! After all this playing and fun I took a 4 hour nap on Sunday and then went to bed at 7:30 Sunday night. I needed to recharge!

A really fun time

I went through all kinds of obstacle courses while I was jumping in these big toys and climbed up a big ladder to go down a slide all by myself. As you can tell in the picture mom wasn't too far at any times. She carried my refreshments since I was sweating so much that I would often get thirsty. I think it was hard for her to let me play so rough, but she'd better get used to it with Robert Eckert Jr coming (if he's anything like my dad).

Birthday party for the Benning boys

I got invited to the Benning boys birthday party at a place that had all kinds of inflated toys I could jump around in! I had SO much fun. I literally jumped and jumped for 2 hours only stopping to eat some cake, ice cream and pizza or to get a drink. I was sweating and laughing and going crazy. A few times I had some tough falls (or bigger kids fell on top of me) but mom had a harder time with that than I did. I am very fearless and I jump get up and annouce that I've been "bumped" and then keep on going. Many of mom and dad's friends commented that I am really outgoing and seem to think I am much older and bigger than I really am but mom and dad are pretty used to this by now.

It's a Happy New Year!

2011 is off to a great start. Mom and dad got Bobby's room ready. Dad made Bobby's crib and did a great job in record time (less than 1 hr). Last night was New Year's Eve and mom and dad took me to a party where I met lots of kids and played with some toys I don't have at home. They had 2 little puppies there that I loved...except they kept stealing the crackers from my hand. No worries, I just asked mommy for "more please" and did my sign language for more please that I learned at daycare. I have also been working on my manners with the help of mommy. I never burp now without saying "cuse me!" although sometimes I get confused and say "bless you." I was so excited to go to the party that it was hard for me to wait for mom and dad to get their coats on...."PARTY, PARTY!" I kept yelling. When we left the party I wished everyone there a "happy new year"
Then on the ride home mom and dad let me request the music I like to sing with. My favorites in the car include, "Twinkle, Twinkle," "Itsy, bitsy spider," "If you are happy and you know it," "muffin man" and "5 little monkeys"
I've also been having some fun teasing and playing tricks on mom and dad. Mom has been asking me who my best friend is since she always tells me that I am her best friend. Sometimes I tell her that my best friend is "Phoenix" (he is a boy who is at my daycare that I play with a lot) and sometimes I tell her that it is "MY Gavin" (mom thinks it is really funny that I emphasize MY Gavin, he is another boy I play with). Every once in a while I tell mom that she is my best friend so as not to hurt her feelings. Watch out dad, I have got some boy friends already.
Tonight I played a really funny trick on mom. I told her I wanted a "kiss on the lips" and then when she leaned in for a kiss I licked her! Then I laughed and laughed. Mom fell for this several times. Then before bedtime I called in dad to play the trick on him. I got him real good with a good lick when he expected a kiss.
