Family picture time and dare devil Emmy

We took a family picture there - it took a few takes to get us all looking forward. I also became quite the dare devil leaping over hay bales and over the bale maze. Mom was really impressed by my big jumps. I am such a big girl now and I can really do some athletic things!

Big slide and other fun things....

I went down a really big slide and landed in a pile of hay. I told mom I didn't like being so dirty but the ride was fun. I ran up a tunnel and went down a big slide and also drove a wooden train.

finding the perfect pumpkin

I tried hard to find myself the perfect pumpkin, but was easily distracted by other things I had to do and play with at the pumpkin patch.

The boys were there too...

Dad and Bobby strolled around. Bobby and Ehli posed for some pictures. Bobby couldn't play on all the things I could because he is too little yet - poor guy!

Riding the ponies

The Stenberg family joined us and Lexi and I rode the ponies! I had a great time.

Papa's Pumpkin Patch

Here we are on our way to the pumpkin patch! Bobby and I like to ride together but mom and dad say we are quite a workout to push around!

A special pumpkin

Since time ran out for me to pick out a special pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, mom took me to the store and let me pick out whichever pumpkin I wanted. I picked one that already had painting on it. A funny face was painted on it. I was SO proud!

Bobby's first tooth!

Mom was excited to report that Bobby has his first tooth. It is on the Right side bottom of his mouth and is just up enough to feel at this point. Bobby is 7 months old so we expect to see lots of teeth now.

I went to gymnastics today and mom and grandma came along too. It was a fun day. Grandma Launa got her and I smoothies and mom got ice cream. I also got a happy meal after class. As Grandma was driving us all back home I was attempting to drink my smoothie. Grandma hit the gas and I told her, "Grandma don't drive so hard! I am trying to drink my smoothie!"

Later on we are going to go to the Pumpkin Patch. Mom told me it is open today. Dad tried to take me on a week day a while back and it was closed so when mom told me it was open I ran over to tell dad right away that it was now open and we could all go! We are meeting the Stenberg family there - mom's friend Jill, Aaron and their kids Lexi and Levi!

Building a tower!

Lately I have been keeping busy by building the tallest towers I can out of my building blocks. Here is a pic of one of my latest masterpieces!

Fargo trip

My whole family went to Fargo this past weekend for a short get-away. You will notice that there are not pictures and this is not because we forgot the camera but rather that Bobby and I kept my parents SO busy that they didn't have time to take any pictures. We left Friday and I swam and went downt the slides, played on a big pirate ship at the water park that was at the hotel. Mom's good friend Kristen Bratton brought her little girl Olivia and Olivia's dad Mark. I felt very brave after some initial wariness regarding the big slide there. Soon I was telling dad to move aside and not catch me as I jumped into the water (with my life jacket on of course). We had a great time! Mom even brought Bobby into the pool with his little water toy car he rode in. We didn't let mom and dad get very good sleep though. Bobby woke up at 3:30 and I insisted mom or dad sleep in my bed and kicked and punched at them while I slept all night long. Mom and dad woke up tired. Dad went to Grandma June's funeral in the morning and mom was stuck in the room trying to keep Bobby and I entertained in confined quarters. I did get a little more swimming in that morning before dad left and then we attempted to watch a short portion of the Concordia Football game. I yelled loudly, "Go Cobbers" along with the crowd. Mom saw her good friend Sarah Hillman and they got a quick chat in before we headed back home again. I played catch with Mason and a football until I almost ran out onto the field, which signalled our time at the game was over. Mom was pretty bummed she didn't get to stay and go out for drinks with her girlfriends and their hubbies but we were all exhausted. I watched movies on the way home and Bobby napped which made for an easy ride for our parents. Mom's 10 year Cobber reunion didn't go as she planned but all in all she felt happy that 10 years later she has a beautiful family to show for her time since the "college days."

I love being a kitty!

Mom and I made special Kitty cookies this past weekend and on the back of the package was a kitty mask that mom cut out for me. Dad tied a rubber band around it so I could wear it. I love to pretend to be a kitty and I only speak in "meows" when I'm a kitty. Mom and I are going to be kitties for Halloween - I can't wait!

Katelynn comes to visit us!

My "Best Friend" Katelynn came to visit us the weekend before last. I was SO excited. I put on my special Cutie pajamas for her. I asked her to stay with us and gave her lots of hugs. She must miss us as much as we do her since she went back to school. We hope that she will be back again next semester so we can see her more often.

Mason's 3rd Birthday

Mason turned 3 this past weekend and I had a blast at his party. He had a jumping playground, cake, pizza....I wore myself out! I love playing with cousins, toys and Bobby had fun too just being Bobby.

Dad's old stuff

Dad brought home a huge box of stuff he used to play with when he was our age. Bobby and I dug right in. I love the My little ponies (I think these may have been Auntie Amber's) Bobby and I both loved the baseball bat, ball and helmet. Mom didn't look real excited to have more "junk" as she called it around our house but I'm sure grandma and grandpa were glad it was now at our house. Dad had fun going down memory lane as he watched us play with his old toys.

Bath time!

Bobby and I are now able to share bath time together since he has graduated from his smaller tub. He loves to spash and play. I even share my toys with him most of the time.
