Emmy's blue birthday party

 Emmy had her 9th birthday party since she turns 9 right around the same time as our Easter trip to Florida this year.  We had the girls make their own visors, play games for prizes, eat ice cream cake, open gifts and dance, sing and play.  The boys ran around playing nerf gun battles and video games and occasionally were bothered by some boy crazy girls who just couldn't leave them alone!

The only theme was BLUE which is Emmy's favorite color.  She surprised me by coming out to greet guests with some very bright blue eye shadow.  Her cake was decorated in blues as well.  She told me it was her favorite party ever and that her friends had a lot of fun.

Hockey ends, Twin day happened and we visited our Great grandmas

Emmy scored 3 goals in the Jamboree this past week.  She will miss playing hockey, she had a great year.  Her dad was out there on the ice for it all!

My girl needed a twin for Twin Day at school.  I offered my services and we were twins on that special day.  We had a great time choosing our matching outfits.

I caught this shot of Emmy and Bobby holding hands on the way in to visit our grandmas at the nursing home.  They are so sweet to each other and play so nicely together.  It is cute to see how they get along.  We also had parent teacher conferences and learned that Bobby is reading doing math at almost a 3rd grade level of testing.  He enjoys working with the accelerated program teacher.  He is always in his friend's business his teacher tells us but his friends don't mind because "every body likes Bobby" she told us.  Emmy is still in the top of the class for reading and math as well.  Her teacher feels she could test even better if she would focus more on school work and less on socializing with friends :)  We had a celebratory dinner to show them how proud we are of how they do in school.  Shogun sushi!

Sky Zone birthday - Bobby turn 7!

Bobby had a fantastic 7th birthday party at Sky Zone!  He enjoyed many friends, pizza and cupcakes (with a hunting theme of course)

Emmy loves choir and her grandparents took her out for dinner before her spring concert

 Emmy got a new hat from her Grandma Launa.  She and I enjoyed a girls movie afternoon (3D) while the boys went fishing.  Bobby had to have a surgery for his hydrocele and so he has had to lay low ever since.  It has been tough for him but he got through surgery like a champ!
