It's official
This fall I'll be taking on a new role. It was made official this month. I'm saying prayers and staying optimistic that this is the right choice for me, my family, U Mary.
Robb is 40!!!
Robb turned 40 and we had a big party to celebrate him! There were more people there than we have pictures to show. Honestly we were having too much fun to take more pictures. We played pool volleyball in the rain and a rainbow even showed up to help him ring in 40. My good friend from junior high sent me a prom picture so I could remember how being young felt when I turned 42 that same week.
June happenings
Baseball has been so much fun this season. Bobby has made double plays and hit lots of doubles, triples, etc. He enjoys his teammates and they are winning lots of games and placing at tourneys. We enjoy dinners out with the other families too.

Let the summer fun begin!!
We have got big plans for the summer!
We've been enjoying several pool parties already this summer. The kids have many new friends and we've enjoyed having them over.
Bobby and I took an afternoon to play mini golf and basketball while Emmy was at hockey camp. Then Emmy and I went to the library while Bobby was at baseball. Emmy found lots of books she was excited about and then we had some cheesecake while reading. Emmy was so kind to a man in a power wheelchair who was looking for someone to share to about a book he wants to write. She was patient and listened so well. She is a kind soul.
Sometimes Coach Robb gets in the pool to throw around other people's little kids since his are too grown up now. He is always a favorite with the kids.
Emmy has a crush on a boy and the feeling seems mutual (for now). I am friends with his mom so of course, they all came over for a pool date. Little brother supervised too and made sure to be a pest when necessary. It was a pizza pool party. We like to entertain at our house....where I'm always watching!
Every weekend is usually full of baseball now.....and we are NOT complaining. I love everything about being a baseball mom!

Bobby really enjoys playing on his Americans baseball team. Lots of great families and friends. He has made good friends with Elin (Boston - his friend's - little sister). She adores him.
We had the entire team and families over after the boys got 2nd in the Bismarck tourney. They had a great time. Little Elin was the only girl there so Emmy played with her. Emmy also let Elin do her makeup! Emmy was such a great sport and an excellent babysitter for Elin while everyone was here for the party.

odds and ends
We celebrated Lexi's birthday!
Bobby and I finally got to go to the Toby Keith concert that I bought tickets to over a year ago before COVID hit. We had an amazing time. He and I love 90s country and Toby has some great hit songs. Bobby and I just love hanging out together. He sang the words to almost every song!
Emmy and I enjoy some girl time as well. We went for a long bike ride to the Nutrition store and got some bubble tea. She is a better bike rider than me now with her strong hockey legs!
I got to meet up with my good friend from HS/college one night. It was fun to catch up and reminisce. I also had a college friend send this picture of us all dressed up for Homecoming. We had a lot of fun moments together.
Emmy had to write about herself in a letter that we give to her future camp counselor at Triangle YMCA camp (she goes June 20-25 this year). She did such a great job that I had to blog about it. She is very creative and artistic. So many talents!
Another mom from Bobby's basketball team sent me this picture of him. He is enjoyed a summer of football and basketball camps, and of course baseball.
