Bobby was excited to get dressed up for his 1st Mass Wednesday.  They both looked pretty sharp!
Emmy and I often capitalize on the nice outside weather to go for bike rides, have coffee and snacks at a destination before we head home.  I love the time with her.
The boys were busy at the ranch and caught lots of fish!
I have been getting Bobby from school when Emmy has to stay for volleyball.  He always comes out loaded down with stuff and with a big smile on his face!

Our church published a picture on their website of Emmy helping the little kids at Vacation Bible School.  She was a popular teacher who enjoyed her time of service.

End of Summer 2022

Bobby got to have one last sleepover with his friends.  They played.....baseball of course!

Robb and I took a quick trip to Florida to celebrate 15 years.  We are so grateful for these years together.
The kids were out at the ranch with my parents having a great time.  Bobby learned lots of farming techniques from my dad and Emmy was in garden, playing with the animals, and helping my mom with canning.
Bobby helped with the activities this year and Emmy was in the music room at McCabe VBS.  They really enjoyed serving the children and church families.
Robb was the painting expert on Studio 701.  He did SOOOO amazing!  We were proud of our star.

First day of school Pool part.  30 kids for pool time and pizza.

Bobby started 6th and Emmy started 8th grade at St. Mary's.  They were both excited to get started and see their friends.  We retired our Summer fun list and blew up the summer fun-o-meter with all the fun activities we did.  It was a summer to remember.  I love my extra time with these kids of mine.

Medora final adventure - horseback riding

Our last Medora adventure was horseback riding.  We went very high up and got to see some amazing views.  I rode Whiskey who was best friends with Bobby's horse, Miko.  Emmy was on Ducky and Robb's horse was Cusco who liked my horse too much.  He often got too close which made Whiskey give Cusco the side-eye.  We had a great ride!

After hiking we went into town for an ice cream break.  We did some zip lining, jumping, shopping and finished off our day with Dinner at the Roughrider Hotel.  It was a great afternoon and we were ready to head to the musical.

Medora hiking

We had a great time hiking in Medora!  The kids love challenging hikes and we were up close and personal with lots of buffalo (who many times were blocking the road!)

Chik Fil A was on our summer to do list.  Everyone agreed we are new fans of this place.  Some healthier options for mom too!

We went to the Urban Harvest and enjoyed some food and fun with grandma and Lexi.  Bobby made a new friend to throw a frisbee with and we had some great crepes.
Kids got their physicals.  Bobby is in the 55th percentile for height and weight.  Emmy is 50th for weight and 24th for height.  Bobby had to get three shots.....one was pretty painful.  We decided that getting through those shots was occasion enough for frozen yogurt.

Bobby is the sweetest boy.  He loves to give me massages and play with my hair.  He always finds a way to fill my love bucket.  I am one lucky mom.
We checked "go to a movie" off our list.  Bobby and I went to the new Thor movie and Emmy branched off to go to the Minions movie with some friends.

Love family auction: We attended the Love family auction to support Emmy and Bobby's 1st grade teacher.  She and her husband fought and are in remission from cancer.  Mrs. Love was a special educator to both kids and very supportive of our family so we were happy to attend and give back to her.  The kids made cards and we made several purchases from our silent auction bidding.  Bobby and Emmy both had some favorites they wanted and Bobby watched very carefully to make sure we were top bidder.  Bobby and I discovered that we both fit into a shirt that was in one of the silent auction baskets we won.
