Bismarck Marathon
A cold, rainy, wet day of running for my relay team. Bob Eckert Painting took away another win. I ran 7 fast miles around 7:10 pace but was sore for almost a week afterwards.
wrapping up Saints Homecoming week
Kids dressed up as "Spy Kids" for the final dress up day at St. Mary's. I LOVED that they wanted to do this together. They continue to support each other and like each other......most days.
Bobby is enjoying school. He made a very creative art project in Religion that earned him top grades and borrowed others his gold marker so they could earn bonus points as well. The other night I heard him talking to himself downstairs and when he came back up I asked him about it. He told me he was actually praying out loud in his prayer corner he had constructed in his room. He used cardboard to section off a part of his room and put his devotionals and Bible there so he could have some moments with God. I love his faith and how devoted he is to the Lord.
Bobby go this time on the field for the Homecoming game. He went to chapel with the team, gave out lots of high fives. He followed the coaches around and really felt like he was part of the team. He represented himself so well and we were very proud.
Football!!!
Bobby's team is currently undefeated in football. He continues to stay busy doing both football and soccer.

Fall sports begin!
Bobby scored his first touchdown, blocked his QB for another touchdown and got his first team win (1st game as well) this season. He told me he is bigger, stronger, more confident playing football this year.
Last weekend Bobby got his first touchdown in a morning football game, score two goals in soccer and had two assists in the soccer game.....then headed out to the ranch and got his doe with his bow and arrow. He had a great day!! He has had two soccer games and was a lead scoring player in both.
Homecoming week means the kids get to dress up daily. This day was Country OR country club. Guess who is country or country club?
Grandma had her 70th birthday this month and we celebrated at Kobe's. She got all the grandkids in a picture.
We enjoyed a boat ride and a fun afternoon with friends. We are blessed with many great friendships!
Bobby and I love to make pear pie. We made another one the other weekend that turned out great. Bobby was making the crumble for the top crust and asked if he could sample the crumble. When I looked over at him it was clear he already had sampled the top crust. Crumbs all over his face!!
