Baseball comes to an end for the season and Emmy starts her summer activities!

Bobby had a great State tourney.  He made a lot of plays, pitched a game successfully for a win, and he was on base over half of his at bats.  He batted close to 500 for the season!  He loved playing for the Nationals and having all that extra time with his dad.
It was a hard loss after they made it into the Gold bracket after pool play.  They lost by 1 run in extra innings after the pitcher turned his back and a runner stole home.  Bobby felt the loss but left with his head held high holding his dad's hand.  I managed to get a picture of them leaving the field.  It was a sweet moment that really illustrated what the baseball season was about.  I can't even count the hours Boby and Robb spent playing catch, pitching, hitting in our yard.
Bobby pulled out two teeth in one week!  The tooth fairy doesn't come to our house anymore but he still worked to get those out.
We have had a few more pool days.  Emmy had an art camp so Bobby and I got some alone time together to mini golf, play the basketball shooting game and go down the superslide.  I won the game of mini golf but judging by where I had to make one of my shots.....I was a real loser.  Bobby thought it was pretty funny though so I let him take a picture.

One day Bobby and I had a picnic.  He is really fun to talk to and hang out with so I enjoy our times together.

Emmy was busy making great art.  SHe loves to draw, write stories, and be creative.  She has talent!

I got some great action shots of our little slugger.

We had Bobby's team at our house at the end of the season for a Pool Party.  It was one of his teammate's birthdays so we also celebrated him.  The boys, coaches, and families had a great time!
