State Honor Choir

Emmy made state honor choir and really enjoyed getting to sing and perform.  She was chosen to sing the descant with a small group of singers and she was fantastic.  Later that week she found out that she got the solo she auditioned for in the St. Mary's choir for the concert this month.  We celebrated her with her choice of take out - Nara Ramen.  She is very talented!

We didn't get a cake at the cake walk, but ended up with 2 fish for pets after a visit to the St. Mary's carnival.
Emmy has been battling it out in hockey.....they play a lot of HS class B teams which means there are times she faces off with girls twice her size.

Emmy enjoys cheerleading so much and proudly wears her white/blue uniform.  She is trying to do it all with hockey, cheer, school and it can be quite a lot for her.

Grandma Launa came to town and spent quality time with the boys and girls.  This night was Lexi and Emmy's night to go out for dinner with grandma.
Bobby's team packed backpacks with food to complete some community service.  Bobby did a great job being interviewed by the news.  He was very well spoken and it was an honor for his team to choose him to do this.

January 2023

I completed my mileage goal for 2022....and added on a few more.  1,303!  My relay ended up in some promotions online for the Bismarck Marathon.
Emmy has been posting on Instagram....her posts sometimes include me.

Our Emmy girls got braces.  She likely will wear them for 1-1 1/2 years.  The first week was tough and she was in a lot of pain.  She has gotten more used to them though and we think she looks absolutely adorable.
