Bobby is smiling, "talking" and interacting with all our family now. I am really proud of us Eckerts! I tell everyone that mommy, daddy, Baby Bobby and I are all Eckerts and part of a family! Mom taught me that. Bobby is sleeping better so that makes mommy smile more too. Here are some pictures of our baby!

Emmy's 2 yr and Bobby's 7 wk old photo shoot
Here I am getting ready for the photo shoot. Grandma M gave me this pretty princess dress (that's what I call it). I danced around in my "tap shoes" and twirled for mommy. Then I posed like a supermodel with my baby brother at the shoot. Bobby was really naughty and cried most of the shoot. Mom and dad said they were exhausted. I got a treat for being such a good girl though. The ladies who took the pictures said I was one "bright little girl" and mom was very proud of me once again. Later on we went to Grandparents Eckert's house and had an Easter Egg hunt and I got a couple Easter baskets. Bobby got some too but since he is just a baby my baskets got most of the candy and goodies. It is fun being the BIG sister since I get to do way more big girl things. Today mommy took just me to the park to play. We had a great time and and I think daddy and Bobby had a good time too.
Easter Egg hunt at the mall
Mom took me to the mall to meet up with my cousin Mason and Aunt Stacy at the Easter egg hunt. At first I thought mom and I were going shopping which we now do once a week in order to get a little along girl time in each week. Usually mom takes me for ice cream or we go pick out donuts for me and daddy (I always pick out the ones with sprinkles and then eat off only the frosting and sprinkles) This time though we brought my Easter basket and hunted for Easter eggs! It was really a nightmare for mom with all the pushy parents and noisy kids but I had a great time. I got 3 Easter eggs (well, mom found them and directed me towards them). I opened them immediately and they had fruit snacks in them! Mom let me eat a package there at the mall and one of the way home. Then I told my baby brother and daddy all about my fun time and thanked my mommy for taking me to the hunt!
Bobby is smiling at 6 wks
Mom has been trying to catch our baby smiling now that he is giving out smiles at 6 wks old. I always tell her that I smile on cue. Here I am giving mom my famous smile and saying "cheeeeeese!" I insisted she take a picture of me since I am a "beautiful princess." Yes, I do call myself that now, but only because mom and dad have been feeding this information to me consistently.
I love french fries but I love ketchup more
I love to eat french fries but I love ketchup more. Dad loves them too and so we eat them together when mom makes them for us. I try to just lick the ketchup off the fries but usually I get busted and mom tells me I must eat what's under the ketchup as well. I also try to convince her that all my food should have ketchup on it which she doesn't agree with. Somehow mom found some "natural ingredient, low sugar" ketchup at the store. It still tastes okay so I guess I'll give her that one.
Grandpa and I make play dough cakes
Aunt Stacy, Uncle Chad and Mason got me play do for my birthday. Mom and I often use the play dough to make cakes. On this day Grandpa and I made some cakes together. I've become really attached to Grandpa and Grandma Eckert lately. I even tell mom that I'd rather sleep over at their house sometimes much to her dismay! I get spoiled at their house and I love every minute of it!
One cool 2 year old!

2 years old
Cousin Andrew got my some great Minnie gifts - swimsuit, ears, cover up and a Minnie purse that I love! Mommy took and picture with her friend Jen who had a baby boy 8 days before we had our baby. I had so much fun at my party. I gave out lots of thank yous and kisses to my friends and family and played with my new toys all night long. When mommy tucked me in that night I told her that I LOVED my party and that I was now 2 years old. I also tell mommy now about our family which is mommy, me, daddy and Bobby. I tell her that we are all Eckerts (but when I say Eckert it sounds like Eck-art).
More Birthday fun!
We finished off our cupcakes. Next I opened my presents! I got pom poms from Kyle and Cydra, some special dollies from Grandma Great Unterseher (her mom made them and now since I'm the first great grand daughter they are passed along to me). I also got a baby from the Bennings, outdoor play things from Bergstrands, clothes from some other friends....the list goes on. Aunt Lori gave me some books I love and a my little pony. Mason gave me books, clothes and a play dough set. Grandma and Grandpa Eckert gave me money to go to my outdoor playground and a cool new suitcase. Grandma Great M gave me clothes too. I felt spoiled, mommy was overwhelmed with the gifts!
I'm a princess!
My auntie Lori bought me a princess dress and I got to wear it for my party. I was so happy! Mommy showed me how beautiful I looked in the big mirror and then I danced around and showed off my party dress. I ran into the living room and told daddy, "I am a princess daddy!" and he thought I looked pretty too. Then my cousin Andrew came and we played with the Mickey balloons that mom blew up for us. My auntie Amber made me a Minnie cake and it turned out awesome! It was too pretty to eat really, but it tasted great. She made cupcakes to go with it too. Aunt Stacy let us borrow Mason's 2 yr old candle but I was shy about blowing it out. I wanted mommy to do it instead. She tried to convince me but I told her I was scared. Everyone sang happy birthday to me and it was a little overwhelming having all that attention. All my friends and family came and it ended up being almost 50 people (including kids)!

My cupcakes!
Mommy and I decorated cupcakes for daycare on Friday before my Birthday on Sunday. We decorated some for the 1 yr old room and the 2 yr old room since I have old friends and some new friends now too. Mommy and I decorated in Mickey Mouse for all the chocolate cupcakes. They were so awesome! I ate a lot of the decorations too but they were for MY birthday after all. Bobby is wearing some of my old clothes now. This brings back memories for mom and dad of when I was a little baby. Now I tell everyone I'm a big girl! This week my mommy and I went shopping and I picked out my own hair bows, ties and ribbons. I told everyone at the store that I was "shopping with my mommy!" We had so much fun together. Then I saw a man walking by and told mommy that he was "NOT my daddy!" and mommy agreed that he certainly was not. I can't wait until tomorrow because I am having a Birthday party with my family and friends.
