Day 2 we had a scenic drive to a beautiful castle that had been restored by Kaiser Villlum after it was demolished in a few of the many wars that occurred after it was originally built. The Haut-Koenigsbourge Castle is located in Alsace of pink sandstone. It was restored mostly to the original version with some german flair by Kaiser William II.
The kids knew the stories of most of these Saints that made up the artwork on the wall.
