My cousins have guinea pigs for pets. I was a little nervous about these animals, but definitely interested. I didn't enjoy petting them as much as watching them from about 1-2 feet away. On Sunday they had to clean the cages and let the guinea pigs run around the floor in an enclosed area and I got to see them really close up. Mom said that we have a dog and will not be investing in any guinea pigs any time in the future. I did enjoy saying "guinea pigs!" and repeated this often throughout the weekend
