First day of school - hybrid model

First day of school.  The kids go to school 2 days per week currently for the month of September.  In October Bobby will go back to full-time but Emmy will stay in hybrid with her two days of in-person school.  The other days are online.  U Mary created a learning academy run by the Education program.  We are so grateful for this option which means the kids go to U Mary on their distance learning days.  COVID has sure made their first months of Middle School and 4th grade different!  We long for the days when we can have some normalcy.  We did complete our first day of school tradition in getting some frozen yogurt after school.  That was sure fun!  I"m back to full-time as well now and trying to teach as much lab as I can get in!  We wear masks and it is a challenge.

Kids finished up the greater majority of their lists.  They were able to have fun during COVID times and I loved this past summer with them.

There are many days that Bobby still puts on his uniform and plays baseball outside.....even though he has started his soccer season.  He scored 2 goals last weekend!

On one of the distance learning days the kids went to Grandma Launa's house to help her cook and can.  They learned a lot on that distance day.

Emmy is now at Horizon and she loves it.  She is a big girl now and we are very proud of her!
