April and May in COVID times

These past weeks have been an adjustment.  All schools went into lock-down mode as businesses were shut down and families were forced to shelter in place as COVID spread.  The US has never experience anything quite like it.  Heather had her surgery and we organized a parade to send her off with well wishes.  We did get some time outside with daily walks.  Emmy and I like to have a destination in mind and on one of our walks we headed to Orange Leaf for frozen yogurt as they were still serving patrons.

I organized an indoor egg hunt for the kids.  We got "egged" by the Heinle family and returned the favor by organizing an easter egg hunt in their yard as well.  Emmy did the work on that and loved every minute of it.  She loves nothing more than to do thoughtful things for others.  The boys were hunting during all of this.  They go a couple times per week on their attempts at getting a turkey.  They love their hunting time and usually come back with some success (porcupines, squirrel, hedgehogs, etc).
